Really helps my lower back!,
I have fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. I’ve had a terrible time standing up to cook, do housework, etc.. This brace really helps support my lower back so I can stand for an hour, or so. It doesn’t eliminate the pain, but keeps it in check. For example, I love to cook and haven’t been able to for about two years. I wore the brace yesterday, cooked a full meal, and cleaned the kitchen. Doesn’t sound like much, but it’s a lot more than I’ve been able to do! If you have lower back pain, I recommend giving this brace a try. Also, the company is wonderful! I had a few questions – they answered my mail the next morning.

Very good multi-purpose brace. This is a really good, breathable brace. The velcro works well (unlike some other name brand braces), and sizing runs true. I use it for the following:
1) when I am lifting weights
2) when I am writing manuscripts and have to sit at the computer for over 6 hours non-stop
3) when cold weather hits, I wear it to bed sometimes with a looser adjustment

Relieves Mom’s lower back arthritis pain. I bought this for Mom (87 years young) who at times has excruciating lower back arthritis pain. She received it yesterday, wore it doing a bit of housework and her back did not hurt when she finished! She would normally have had to stop a few times to sit because of the pain but she did not need to while wearing the brace. Also, she normally would have had a day or 2 of bad pain afterwards. Mom wanted a brace that was breathable, comfortable and adjustable. This one hits all those points wonderfully. She said some of the material is “mesh-like” so that it “breathes” and is soft enough that she does not think it will irritate her skin. I ordered the large which has a nice adjustable range from 38” – 50” it fits her perfectly. I know this is not much of a trial but Mom was so very happy with this brace that I promised I would give it an “atta-boy” for her. Myself, I thought the price was within an acceptable range and especially now that I see how much pain relief/help this brace will be to my mom.

This is one of the best back braces I have purchased in quite a while. My lower back hurts so bad some days that I can only stand for 10 – 15 minutes at a time….even less if on concrete floors. This back brace is easy to put on and adjust. Might sound silly, but I also like the decoration on it so I can remember which way it goes on….Real simple, just loosen the two adjustable wraps (velcro), then put the belt/brace around your waist/lower back and secure it (velcro again). This brace also fits me and I am overweight.
Then using the two adjustable wraps, pull them to where they are comfortable and secure them with the velcro. I still have pain a lot but not nearly as bad as before using this brace. The mesh helps with sweating although I still sweat, just not as much as with other braces. It can be worn under your clothes (just make sure you get the velcro on the inner belt straight so it doesn’t scratch your skin) or on top of your clothes. I have worn it both ways and it works great.

Well Made & Strong Support. I paid full price for this brace and I’m writing this review on my own initiative. I’ve tried a couple of back belts and this one is well made. You can synch it down tightly enough to get all the support you could ever want. However, those qualities also mean it has a good bit of bulk. I think it’s a little much for wearing under clothes for any length of time. I would trade away some of its strength to get a slimmer fit. I’ve tried a couple types that are easier to wear underneath clothing, but they don’t breathe well and I get soaked with sweat quickly. This belt breathes very well and I don’t have that problem at all. If the bulk isn’t a concern, I think this is one of the better models available and I’d recommend it. As to size, when standing and completely relaxed, my gut measures 38″ (around belly button) and the REG size fits fine.
